TEC AMERICA ANNOUNCES ORACLE® WMS LABEL PRINTING CERTIFICATION
Atlanta, GA – May 1, 2007 – Toshiba TEC America, an industry leader in
providing their thermal printer customers with products, systems and
solutions to fulfill the requirements that contribute to their success and
satisfaction, announced today that the Company’s B-SX and B-SA Series of
thermal printers will now offer XML-enabled, direct-connect printing
capabilities as a standard feature along with their existing support of
TPCL (TEC Printer Command Language). This ease of integration and expanded
functionality results in greater efficiency and productivity resulting in
a reduced total cost of ownership.
Built-in XML support enables Toshiba B-SX4T, B-SX5T and B-SA4T printers to
accept and interpret incoming data streams directly from Oracle®
Corporations’s Warehouse Management System (WMS), and Mobile Supply Chain
Applications (MCSA) and to print labels using a direct method without
adding middleware or additional print server hardware. The Oracle®
XML/TOSHIBA Hybrid Solution includes PrintSystem for XML, a feature-rich
label design software tool. Utilizing this solution in conjunction with
Toshiba printers makes way for an organization to effortlessly extract the
variable label data from its Oracle® database and send it directly to the
Toshiba B-SX and
B-SA printers.
